Amber takes the lead, supported by smoke, yellow blossom, leather, balsam, wood and a faint animalic edge, giving a mellow yet full-bodied feel.
As an Oriental Woody, it favours generous, heated matter rather than a sharply gendered style. No head, heart and base stages are declared, so the spices, blossoms, resins and woods are best understood as a single woven accord.
Saffron, cinnamon and nutmeg meet incense, styrax and labdanum on the spiced-resinous axis. This is where the smoky, balsamic behaviour comes from, recalling sun-warmed, shimmering ground.
Rose, white blossoms and ylang-ylang provide the floral brightness, while vanilla, caramel, sweet notes and a fruity hint lend roundness. The result is creamy and golden rather than overtly sugary.
