  This perfume has pleasantly surprised me. Judging by the notes, one might expect a sharp blend of citrus, apple and spices, but it’s nothing of the sort. It opens with a revitalising mix of apple and citrus before settling down as the spices emerge; cardamomo stands out, though pepper and nutmeg are also present. Once the apple and spices have blended, sandalwood appears with a very subtle vanilla base. From here, the scent rounds off and wraps you in a cosy bubble. I’m writing this after five hours, in that phase where, at times, you can’t smell it on yourself. I’ve noticed something I call ‘the bubble law’: if I don’t move, I can’t smell it, but if I do, I can. I left the room and returned ten minutes later; upon opening the door, I noticed the room still held Solstis’s scent. Truly impressive, because other perfumes from this brand I’ve tried haven’t been special (except perhaps the Parisian Oud, which might have been reformulated) and had disappointing performance. In my view, it’s unisex, suitable for spring or summer, day and night, and very pleasant. As for longevity, trail and projection, they’re good for now, but we’ll see how it continues. A delightful surprise for summer.

It begins with a revitalising mix of apple and citrus that soon mellows as the spices emerge; cardamomo stands out, though black pepper and nutmeg are also present. After the apple and spices settle, sandalwood appears with a very subtle vanilla base. From here, the scent rounds off and wraps you in a cosy bubble. I’m writing this after five hours, in a phase where the scent sometimes disappears, but I’ve noticed what I call ‘the bubble law’: if I don’t move, I can’t smell it, but once I do, it returns. I left the room and came back ten minutes later; upon opening the door, I noticed the room still held Solstis’s fragrance. I’m truly impressed, especially as other perfumes from this brand I’ve tried haven’t been special (except perhaps Parisian Oud, which may have been reformulated) and had disappointing performance. In my view, it’s unisex, perfect for spring or summer, day or night, and very agreeable. As for longevity, trail, and projection, they are good for now, though time will tell how it evolves. A delightful surprise for summer.

  It smells exactly like the mix you get right after applying sunscreen and taking a couple of seaside dips; your skin retains that salty, wet scent but still with the cream. My only hesitation is its longevity or value for money… I have serious doubts about buying it, so I’ll keep testing it. It seems adorable for summer.

  It smells just like the moment after you’ve applied sunscreen and taken a couple of dips in the sea; your skin smells of that salty, wet mix but still with the sunscreen on. My only hesitation is its longevity or value for the price… I’m seriously doubting whether to buy it, so I’ll keep testing it. It seems adorable for summer.
