Created by perfumer Mahsam Raza, Sugared Violet & Sandalwood by The Dua Brand arrived in 2025. It is an Oriental Floral intended for both women and men.
Rather than a timed pyramid, the house presents six notes together: plum, violet, vanilla orchid, amber, sandalwood and vetiver.
The violet is distinctly sugared, powdery and mellow. More petal than stem, it gives a soft, almost cashmere-like floral impression.
Plum contributes juiciness and depth. That dark fruit sweetness lifts the powder and stops it feeling chalky.
Vanilla orchid with amber forms the cosy, oriental heart, balancing creamy sweetness against a warmer resinous glow.
Sandalwood provides the smooth woody cushion, while vetiver introduces a dry, earthy and aromatic counterpoint for structure.
Altogether the scent feels woody, powdery, violet-led and ambery, with fruity, floral, sweet and gently spiced facets. A level, unisex wear.
