Descripción
Un Matin d'Orage by Goutal is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2009, this composition was created by Isabelle Doyen and Camille Goutal. The top notes reveal a vibrant freshness with green notes, ginger, and Amalfi lemon; the heart unfolds the elegance of gardenia, jasmine, magnolia, and champaca; while the base settles on the warmth of sandalwood.

Of all the Annick Goutal scents I’ve tried, this is the most unusual. It’s a good perfume, very natural and hard to define. It feels like a modernisation of the house, circa 2000s style. Sophisticated and balanced, it seeks utility over originality. I recommend it for modern women aged 25 to 45.
I tried the house’s testers and I’m definitely keeping this perfume. It’s gardenia in its purest form, sweet but not cloying (I believe it contains myrrh, so use it sparingly to avoid weighing it down). Incredible: Goutal surprises again with exquisite florals and a fantastic sillage. I’ve marked it down to buy.
Smells like pure magic and wild nature. An exquisite fragrance that intoxicates you with sophistication.
It’s a super-floral Annick Goutal; I love it because I smell freshly cut jasmine when it settles on my skin. I never imagined one could smell a true flower in a perfume, that scent we feel when touching flowers. It’s not long-lasting, but it’s worth it: I love it!
It’s a super-floral Annick Goutal that I adore. It smells of freshly cut jasmine settling on my skin; I never imagined feeling a flower so real in a perfume. It doesn’t last long, but it’s worth it: I LOVE it.
This perfume is ideal for a summer day. Jasmine predominates; it’s subtle and friendly to the nose. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something impactful and memorable.
A perfume with a high dose of romance that envelops you with a delicate, creamy, and elegant floral scent. The white gardenia stands out, fluffy, sweet, and warm, accompanied by garden greenery with trees refreshed by summer rain and the exotic sensuality of sandalwood. It’s all about gardenias, and since it’s my favourite scent, I love it. It’s soft but has good fixation and clings wonderfully to a dreamy, intellectual woman. It’s feminine, creamy, and floral. It might be the best gardenia scent on the market (with the permission of the one by Elisabeth Taylor). If you like gardenias and want to add a romantic, dreamy touch, give it a try; it doesn’t disappoint.
At first, I didn’t understand this fragrance… After trying others from the brand, I expected a different experience, but I found something incredible. Upon application, you note white jasmine and gardenia, natural and tender. Then, within an hour, it adds a spicy, green-minty, earthy note (according to the blog, it’s shiso, Japanese basil). At first, it tickles the nose, but from a distance, it smells open and less strange. It lasts several hours with that vibe of a garden after a rainstorm, luminous and still, until a woody base. The best part is the landscape sensation it conveys: a mix of white flowers and spice that gives the impression of wind moving leaves under a cloudy sun. It’s a bottled painting. The longevity is good, around 6-7 hours, and the projection is adequate without being overwhelming. Worth a try, even if it’s not easy to understand at first. It’s not a simple floral; if you like musing over rare aromas, it’s a good blind buy. If you prefer easy, carnal florals like Diorissimo, choose that instead.
This fragrance took me a while to understand… After discovering Nuit Étoilée and others, I couldn’t have expected less, yet I found something incredible. As soon as applied, I smell jasmine and gardenia as the stars, very natural, white, carnal, and tender. Gradually, within an hour, a spicy note emerges between green mint and earthy. According to the blog, it’s shiso, a Japanese plant with a green, resinous, and slightly aniseed scent, like basil. At first, I thought of mint, but basil makes more sense given that earthy and aniseed sensation. When it settles on the arm, it tickles the nose, but from a distance, it smells more open. It lingers for several hours, luminous, still, with moisture like a garden after a rainstorm, until a more woody base appears. The best part is the landscape sensation: white flowers and spices mixed like the wind, a gust shaking leaves under a cloudy sun with water droplets. It’s a bottled painting! The longevity is good, around 6-7 hours, with adequate projection. It’s worth exploring, even if it’s not easy to smell; it took me almost a month to get it. It’s not just any floral; it’s for those who want to savour rare aromas. Otherwise, opt for a Diorissimo for delicate flowers.
This gardenia is the queen of gardenias, and using this fairy potion makes you feel very happy, as if the sun is illuminating you from within. It’s a wonderful scent that lasts, though if I wanted it to last longer, it wouldn’t be a bad idea. It’s a clean, bright garden on a promising morning. Splendour and beauty, things that are hard to find but are here. If you want to recover them, they are there: this perfume helps you rediscover beauty.
To me, it’s an elixir of joy and happiness. Rubbing yourself with full-strength jasmine and gardenia. A wonder for lovers of natural florals faithful to real plants. Just as Diorissimo or Joy are vintage versions, this is hyper-realistic: spring, light, jasmine, gardenia, and champaca in a little bottle for pure enjoyment and good humour. Generous longevity.
To me, it’s an elixir of joy and happiness. It’s like rubbing yourself with jasmine and gardenia to the max. A wonder for lovers of natural florals that stay true to the real scents of plants. Just as Diorissimo or Joy have vintage versions, this one is hyper-realistic. Spring, light, jasmine, gardenia, and champaca in a little bottle for personal enjoyment and to put you in a good mood. The longevity is generous.
Smells like chlorophyll in a bottle; it’s the energy of plants pressed into a scent for you. It evokes freshly cut grass, but more like an entire plant, green and fleshy, nothing lactonic. It’s purely green with an acidic lemon. It’s unique for its naturalness, just like rubbing a cut plant, but with decent longevity. It’s the one my four-month-old baby wears every day: fresh, sparkling, and energetic.
I adore Anick’s fragrances, but this one disappoints me in terms of longevity; it lasts nothing at all. That said, it’s so real I love it: it smells like freshly cut grass with a touch of mandarin.
The jasmine takes me back to my parents’ house, that familiar scent of home; add the oranges from Calle Martínez… my daughter says it reminds her of our home in the south where we had such a garden. It’s gorgeous, lingers on clothes, and stays there. Just a note: there’s a lovely perfume by Paula Cahen Danvers, it’s cheap and perfect for reapplying.
Starts off brilliantly, reminiscent of moonflower with that green and sweet peachy touch, but the dry-down doesn’t quite convince me: it settles into a very real, astringent green tea blended with champaca flower.
