Descripción
Étoile d'une Nuit by Goutal is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2019, this composition was created by perfumer Mathieu Nardin. Upon release, blackberry, bergamot and Italian mandarin take a vibrant first step; the heart reveals iris, rose and Egyptian jasmine; while the base settles on musk, vanilla and cashmere wood.

Smells identical to Lipstick on by Maison Margiela. The powdery note is exactly the same.
A very elegant and powdery fragrance. If you enjoy the smell of makeup, you’ll adore it. Ideal for a date, preferably in cooler weather. It’s pretty, sweet, powdery, floral and simple.

I absolutely love it. It’s powdery, soft and delicate; none of those talcum powder scents that seem plucked from a memory box. Very feminine and elegant. On my skin, I don’t notice the citrus top notes or even perceive them at all. Yes, there’s rose and violet, though very delicate. It quickly smells of talcum powder and dry woods. I adore it. I wish it had more projection and sillage. The longevity is excellent on skin and clothes. It smells like pure high-end makeup. If you like this line, buy it blind. When it runs out, I’ll be buying it again.

It’s like a second skin. Dry and powdery with a subtle sweetness. Wearing it is pure delight. Yes, I wish it projected more, but that scent that seems to emanate from your own skin makes it even more endearing.
Another Goutal, but Etoile d Une Nuit feels much drier and powdery, especially in the vanilla and iris. On my skin, the jasmine gives an almost dirty, cumin-like touch. There’s an acidic aftertaste (I assume from blackberry), but overall, it just doesn’t suit me. It’s warm and I see it better for a woman on cool days at semi-formal events. It feels more mature and recalls other scents due to that powdery side. The contrast with the brand’s femme fatale perfumes is stark; for me, this isn’t. Rating: 5.5/10, tested with an official sample.
Another from Goutal, but this Etoile d Une Nuit feels much drier and more powdery, especially in the vanilla and iris. On my skin, the jasmine adds a slightly dirty touch, akin to cumin. There’s an acidic aftertaste (I suppose from blackberry), but overall it hasn’t sat well with me. It’s warm and I see it better for a woman on crisp days and semi-formal events.
