I had high hopes for this, thanks to a decant sent by a friend that allowed me to try it. Although I enjoyed the scent, it lacks longevity and projection on my skin. I wouldn’t buy it knowing I’d have to overapply it, even though it’s a lovely fragrance. It’s completely unisex. Upon application, it smells primarily of cardamomo with a smoky vetiver touch, then settles into something more resinous—mainly frankincense and myrrh to my nose, though this phase is very subtle. Its trail is moderate but fades quickly; in my case, it lasts only three or four hours, whereas many find it lasts much longer. I prefer other cardamomo-based perfumes that develop better on my skin, such as Cartier Declaration, Aristocrazy Intuitive, or Olfactive Studio Chypre Shot. Scent 7/10, Longevity 4.5/10, Sillage 4.5/10, Value for Money 4/10, Versatility 4/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy again? No.
A very rich, natural, and evocative fragrance. It smells of wood, patchouli, and frankincense, with a smoky amber note at the base, followed by more aromatic wood and a very natural green accent—nothing intrusive, elegant and refined. I never get tired of smelling it. It belongs to the Le Couvent Maison de Parfums line: simplicity, few notes, high-quality ingredients, and understated yet elegant presentation. A wonderful aromatic experience. It doesn’t project or last long; it’s moderate, almost for personal enjoyment, though it works very well at close range. Excellent value for money.
I don’t like it; too much resin. That said, perhaps it would act better on my skin in winter than in autumn or spring. I expected more from this ‘vegan perfumery’ project led by Monsieur Jean-Claude Ellena.

Tremendously elegant. It smells of woods, resins, and incense, but all in a sweet and gentle way, I suppose softened by nutmeg and cardamom. To me, being from the Chilean coast, it has awakened my olfactory memory and transported me to that area (if anyone knows Valparaíso, I’d say more precisely Horcón/Quintero, due to the incense). In certain phases, it reminds me of Versace’s Oud Noir; up close they aren’t the same, but from a distance, relying only on memory, I put them in the same box. It is woody, dark, yet gentle and elegant. It’s fabulous in autumn, also in winter (never in heat). Watch out, as some online stores put it on offer and it’s well worth it.

I’m giving it another go, and with cold weather (between -5 and 10 degrees) is when it works best. It’s an oriental fragrance with a certain leaning towards fougère, an aroma one might call an ‘oriental fougère style’. Resins, woods, and green/floral touches with spices. Absurd as it may sound, I appreciate it more now, though it will never be my first or second choice. If you enjoy dark resinous fragrances and can find them at a good price, it’s a great option because the quality is there.
Well, it works brilliantly, honestly. It smells quite resinous, woody, with a smoky touch that I absolutely love. The development is lovely, settling into a very pleasant patchouli base that doesn’t feel heavy. Only the opening can be a bit overwhelming at first, but it passes quickly, giving way to the rest of the fragrance, which is generally very comfortable to wear. Ideal for cold days, 100%.
