  Warm amber, yet not opulent. It’s cosy, that kind of scent that embraces you without shouting or trying too hard. Three well-manipulated notes creating an amber, resinous, and chocolatey sensation. I like it for myself and for Ellena. I can’t comment on longevity and projection as it’s more of a personal treat. I’d rate it as shy, beautiful, and perceptible for about 6 hours. Suitable for any occasion.

It’s spicy and warm, perfect for autumn and winter. Apps list notes I can’t detect, but I smell cocoa, chilli, and amber resin. Long-lasting. If you seek elegance, this is the choice.

  To start, I adore the brand and Jean-Claude Ellena… This was my second niche fragrance and it ranks among my top five in the collection. I love the scent, the bottle, the box, and above all, the price. It’s spicy and warm, perfect for autumn and winter. Many apps list notes I don’t perceive, but I can definitely smell the cocoa and chilli, finishing with amber resin. It has quite a long longevity. If you’re looking for a very elegant fragrance, this is the option.

  A fragrance by master Jean-Claude Ellena. The name refers to an extinct breed of Japanese wolves. The result is an amber fragrance with musk and red berries. Although defined as gourmand, it lacks a specific ‘flavour’; it doesn’t smell of coffee or lemon cakes. It’s a wonderful warm, woody, elegant, and intense scent, with moderate projection and longevity. It has its own personality, is kind and sweet. Totally unisex, with ingredients that are largely natural. Adding an affordable price for a niche product, the result is unbeatable. As always, test before buying.

  My girlfriend bought this for herself at first, but she used to wear it whenever we went out, so she eventually gifted it to me as she didn’t like it much. It has a sharp, marked opening of red pepper, a dusted cocoa, and a base amber that gives it structure and warmth. If I liked it before, now it’s even more precious. It’s not just another generic scent or a lotion designed to stand out like SWY; it simply says ‘I’m here’, with a touch more class.
