The richest vanilla I’ve tried, with no tonka; it smells of natural vanilla. The only drawback is that it’s very shy and you need to be up close to enjoy it, not to mention the price.
I had high hopes. I acknowledge Le Labo’s quality, but in the end, it smells of vanilla and incense, like a wand from a spiritual shop.
I rarely like pure vanilla perfumes, but this has changed my mind. I absolutely love it; I wear it just to feel comfortable, to sleep, or to relax, and for special events I mix it with others to add elegance.
Soft and understated vanilla, with a citrus note that barely peeks out at first. It doesn’t have much sillage, but up close it lasts for up to five hours. It’s rich and refined, though I don’t think it justifies the high price. I bought a decant and won’t be spending on the 100ml bottle.
