Bought it blind, guided by the notes and tempted by Emir’s quality, which does not disappoint from the Paris Corner group. It comes in a gorgeous round tin I don’t want to throw away, with a heavy frosted bottle of good glass, intense orange colour, and a white cap that closes perfectly. Being high quality, it has lots of essential oil and leaves the skin velvety. Upon application, it surprises with a sweet and bright opening: a cocktail of ripe mandarin peels, bitter orange in freshly squeezed juice, a bursting jasmine, and a huge cotton candy. It’s fresh, creamy, and enveloping, a cloud of melted sweets that lasts over four hours. Then, the lime and ripe California lemon sparkle alongside sambac jasmine, while the cotton candy becomes more present and creamy. White jasmine and bitter orange blossom shine in their splendour, turning the gourmand opening into a seductive floral bouquet. It screams summer and youth. The dry down is realistic, with cotton candy; although neroli doesn’t bloom in summer, it reminds me of siestas in orange groves. It conveys joy and positivity. It projects more than 30 cm for four hours, then stays as a citrus caress close to the skin, but reappears after a shower. On clothes, the neroli is noticeable the next day. It’s similar to Byredo’s Sundazed, but much more potent, sweet, airy, and long-lasting. I see it as more feminine, but neroli is unisex and could suit male skins, especially in summer. Although in northern winter I’d use it sparingly. It’s a total hit.

A cheerful perfume full of sunshine. If you like orange gummies, this is for you: it smells exactly like those orange-flavoured sweets. I love it for its projection and longevity; it is quite versatile and easy to please. It is not at all soft or skin-scented, but strong and characterful.

Explosive and luminous opening of juicy mandarin and California lemon, like the first rays of sun on warm skin. The citrus is fresh without being aggressive, with a summery and vibrant air from the very first second. In the heart, a charming blend: creamy and intense sambac jasmine against a clean neroli that recalls the breeze of orange blossom. The dry down is enveloping and addictive, with cotton candy and white musk leaving a delicate, powdery, almost sweet veil. It’s pure hedonism: joy, light, and nostalgia for an eternal summer. For those who live in the present with lightness and know how to enjoy the moment. Musically, it vibrates like ‘Three Ecuadorian Dances’ by Blanca Layana or the intimate jazz of ‘Path Home’ by Lucía Pulido. In colour, it’s a bright pastel orange, the sweet glow of an afternoon that doesn’t want to go away.
