  Sounds like florals with oud, achieving that sensation of dried petals mixed with infusions. What stands out most are those ambergris molecules (I’m not sure if synthetic) that I’ve never managed to isolate, but I suppose they give identity to Ambra. Sometimes it has that glorious, almondy luminosity of incense, rising faster thanks to the push of the green notes. But there’s something powdery, a screen, like the glass of a snowball. The theological heights this incense promises turn out to be a model, a diorama that fits in the palm of your hand. It’s the souvenir figurine, surrounded by glitter inside a glass sphere. Although here the glass is rough and greyish. That’s how I see Ambra’s musk note: as an enveloping matrix. Like a smoked screen that darkens the radiance of green-gold flashes of winged cloves and milkless cardamom. As it dries, the light fuses with the glass. That celestial diorama of angels sharp as rays of light fades away, too ethereal for this world, and only its reflection remains in the glass, very similar to candle wax, dried petals again, and smoke. Almost creamy, but not because it’s silky, but purely due to powdery density.
