  Kamasurabhi, inspired by India, has two distinct phases. First, a mix of sweet fruits and exotic flowers that sounds cheerful and fresh, though it doesn’t last long. Then it moves into a floral-woody phase where ylang-ylang and sandalwood dominate, leaving the patchouli and leather almost invisible. It clings to the skin like a scent skin; it’s pleasant and feminine, but predictable and a bit boring. It doesn’t quite convince me: not sensual enough and monotonous. Rating: 4

  Reminds me hugely of Joya de Myrurgia, but with fewer aldehydes and spices, and very little vanilla. The sandalwood fills those gaps nicely. It features a green, sweet ylang-ylang that stays true to itself, paired with a very subtle soapy patchouli. The balance between the warm and cool notes is well achieved.
