From the first spray it feels luminous and freshly laundered, with a poised aldehydic sheen that soon gives way to a rounder floral heart.
At the top, aldehydes are paired with ylang-ylang, galbanum and neroli. The result is crisp and faintly green, lending lift and clarity without harshness.
Through the middle, rose, jasmine and lily of the valley unfold over sandalwood and honey. The character turns more golden and mellow, blending white petals and classic rose with a whisper of honey.
The dry-down rests upon musk, benzoin, vetiver and oakmoss. Here the texture becomes drier and talc-like, the oakmoss lending backbone while benzoin keeps the sweetness supple.
Taken together, the accords are yellow floral, aldehydic, musky and fresh, with rosy, sweet, powdery and soapy nuances. It favours polish over opulence, a tidy floral very typical of its period.
