It’s as if Aramis Vintage and Tobacco Reserve had a baby, with that vintage barbera note and a spicy, boozy vanilla base. On my skin, it’s very low for the first three hours, then settles close to the skin for another three and a bit. It’s linear, ideal for formal or semi-formal occasions in intermediate seasons; it doesn’t project in the cold and gets killed by the heat. Indie perfumes are usually about breaking rules and lasting well, but nothing special happened here. Short and direct review, just like the fragrance.
