An interesting fragrance, a handcrafted spicy oriental. It opens citrusy with leather and a rather chaotic blend. Pepper, musk, tonka and a hint of vanilla (which sounds more like suede) bring the notes to life. As it dries down, a very subtle lavender emerges. I’m surprised leather isn’t listed in the notes, as it sometimes smells perfectly of skin. At times it reminds me of Bvlgari Man in Black; they’re not the same, but they follow a similar line. It lasts around 5 to 6 hours with a moderate to heavy trail. It projects very intensely at first, then becomes more moderate as it dries down. I was truly surprised, as I didn’t expect anything more than a Zara fragrance, but I received a delightful surprise and an 80ml bottle for just €7.99.
