From LAB 8, Zafar arrived in 2026 as a woody-oriental composition for men. It aims for fullness, unfolding in distinct stages rather than all at once.
Expect a fruity-spiced brightness first, then a floral and timbered centre, resting on amber, balsam, leather and soft musk. It feels warm, sweetly powdered and faintly animalic.
Up top there is plenty going on: dried fruits alongside apple, pineapple, peach, strawberry, black currant, coconut, sweet orange and bergamot. Damask rose adds lift, while cardamom, cinnamon, coffee, pepper, pink pepper, cumin and spiced notes bring warmth.
The middle is where the woods take charge. Oud wood, sandalwood and cedar meet rose, jasmine, violet, iris, lily of the valley and coriander. Saffron, amyris and cypriol contribute a dry, earthy character with a whisper of smoke.
Below that sits incense, vanilla, amber, grey amber, labdanum and balsamic notes. Leather, patchouli, vetiver and oakmoss provide structure, softened by sandalwood, guaiac wood, white musk and a trace of civet.
Woody, warm spicy and fruity impressions lead, supported by amber, powdery and sweet tones. Aromatic, fresh-spiced, earthy and animalic touches add contrast and keep the blend lively.
Its weight suggests evening occasions and cooler weather, where the resins, woods and leather have room to develop gradually.
It will appeal to men drawn to opulent orientals, particularly fans of oud, rose, leather and vanilla balanced by a sweetly spiced fruity opening.
