The architecture pairs saffron and woody notes at the top with a leather, sandalwood and cedar heart, resting on Tolu balsam, amber and musk.
At the outset, saffron is laid over dry woods. The impression is spiced and warm, with no harsh edge, establishing a full-bodied character.
Through the middle, leather becomes central, cushioned by sandalwood’s creaminess and given structure by cedar. The blend feels refined and well judged.
Towards the base, Tolu balsam joins amber and musk. Resinous softness smooths the woods and takes the firmness out of the leather.
Accords of amber, powder, balsam and gentle sweetness dominate, underpinned by a faint animalic warmth and a softly spiced trail. The mood is cosy and substantial.
The wear progresses from arid spice to creamy resin. Suited to lovers of mellow leather combined with noble woods and amber, worn by any gender.
