Descripción
Eva Kant by O'Driu is a spicy oriental fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, the nose behind this composition is Angelo Orazio Pregoni. The top notes reveal lavender, grapefruit, and woody nuances; the heart unfolds myrrh, ginger, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, and magnolia; while the base notes close with benzoin, vanilla, cardamom, and chamomile.

It begins like a lemon tart, with a floral and salty touch. It’s the tart version (less salty than Beaufort’s cookie) of Lignum Vitae, decorated with white petals. Gradually, it loses its gourmand side to gain that addictive citrus-balsamic scent. Very delicious!
I loved it. It smells like lemon tart, as laiquolasse rightly says. It lasts well on the skin, though the projection is low and it’s meant to be enjoyed naturally. The balsamic note of myrrh and the florals of lavender, magnolia, or ylang-ylang become noticeable as it dries down. It has a touch of sweetness without being cloying, with a distinct vanilla note. I consider it unisex and perfect for any situation; I’d avoid it with very classic or elegant attire, but it’s ideal for casual or modern events where you don’t want to draw attention. It reminds me of Lignum Vitae by Beaufort for that lemon tart aspect and Habit Rouge EDP by Guerlain minus the rose. Another one straight to my wishlist… hehehe. Scent: 9, Longevity: 8, Projection: 6, Value for money: 5, Versatility: 9, Originality: 8, Overall: 8.5
I’m absolutely blown away by this fragrance. As laiquolasse pointed out, it smells like lemon tart. It lasts a long time on the skin, though the projection is low, so it’s better enjoyed up close. You can detect the balsamic note of myrrh and the floral hints of lavender, magnolia, or ylang-ylang, which become more prominent as it dries down. There’s a notable sweetness from the vanilla, but it’s not cloying. I see it as unisex and ideal for anything; perhaps I’d avoid it with classic suits, but for casual or modern events, it’s a hit if you don’t want to stand out. It reminds me of Lignum Vitae by Beaufort for that tart side and Habit Rouge by Guerlain without the rose. It’s already on my wishlist… I love the odour, hehe.
