Spicy, powdery and aniseed, with hints of mint and a potent black licorice note. Reminds me of Lolita Lempicka or Heretic. Perfect for Christmas and Three Kings Day, unisex and sure to earn compliments and jokes. Whatever it is, it’s a valued gift. 🕯️ 9/10.🔥

It begins with a burst of spices, particularly cinnamon, anise and licorice, with a touch of ripe fruit and something green in the base. Gradually, the licorice and anise settle down while the cinnamon and fruit take centre stage. It smells both fruity and spiced, sweet but not overpowering. At the end, it fades with a shy vanilla trail. At times it reminds me of chai tea. The performance is very good: it lasts a long time and projects well, though it’s best used in cold weather. I liked it, although at first the background sounded a bit artificial until it softened. It’s a rather original scent; I can’t recall anything similar. I recommend trying it, but never buying blindly.
