As others say, longevity isn’t its strong suit. It’s not bad, but for the price, I expected more. And yet, I bought it without a second thought because I simply adore it. It’s not meant to impress anyone, but for my own enjoyment. When I wear it, it shifts my mood, bringing me joy and serenity, and motivates me for the day. It doesn’t aim for a green or realistic fig, but rather an integrated note within a creamy, sweet, and warm fragrance. It’s versatile for any season, and although it’s not challenging, it has something special that captivates me.

It could be my favourite if it weren’t for how quickly it disappears from my skin. I applied it an hour ago and it’s almost gone, leaving only a faint trace of fig smoothie if I press my nose close. If it cost €20, I’d buy it instantly, but at €100, it’s not worth it for me. There are other options with better longevity and value. The price-to-quality ratio is insane, though for those who can afford it, it’s ideal for spring, provided you carry the bottle to reapply. Scent: 10, Longevity: 7, Sillage: 6, Value for money: 5, Versatility: 7, Originality: 9, Overall: 8.

Yesterday Haze opens with a creamy fig, slightly acidic, with a woody base. The hazelnut adds a dry, fruity touch. In the dry-down, it loses the acidity and becomes even creamier, like a fig smoothie. The woods and hazelnut become less noticeable, while the tonka bean lends a subtle almond note. It doesn’t change much at the end, just becoming softer, yet it lasts quite a while close to the skin. The performance is good, perhaps the best among fig perfumes I’ve tried. It has a nice presence without being overpowering, ideal for mild weather. It has won me over despite not being a fig fan. It lasts for hours, neither too sweet nor green. The only thing I dislike is its high price.
