What a laugh this work of art has given me… Absolutely brilliant, such a sweet green. Very herbal and very woody, light yet bordering on bitter, it’s sexy, so much so. Very sensual and utterly captivating, in my opinion. Overwhelming and incredibly long-lasting. It lasts, and lasts, and more… A citrusy absinthe bomb at first, but very subtle and refined. This is how I see Mandragola by V: a hymn to my olfactory senses, a sweet poison that completely entraps you when you smell it. A very complex fragrance as the hours pass. Definitely a winner. It doesn’t go unnoticed. It will fill your room when you wear it, but in a way that is by no means invasive; quite the opposite. Autumn and winter, though it will surely work on the freshest summer nights. The bergamot and citrus notes come out strong but elegant, while the roses, jasmine, and oud (very soft) give this addictive, almost creamy blend a real body thanks to the sandalwood and saffron. The vetiver also has plenty to say here in this perfume. Present throughout with the amber, vanilla, and that little touch of sandalwood… aaahhh… A delight. Very surprised by this aroma with its esoteric undertones. The longevity, projection, and trail are out of this world. Magnificent.
