At first, I thought it was another typical spicy fragrance from the brand and was slightly disappointed, expecting something softer. But over time, those spices softened considerably. It’s a lovely scent. I don’t know what’s going on with Heretic; every fragrance I smell sounds like something I already know. It’s so warm and beautiful, seriously, I love it, though I think I’d enjoy it even more on someone else. It feels slightly fresh yet creamy at the same time; oh, truly, the more I smell it, the more I like it. I feel the vanilla goes hand in hand in harmony with the amber.
