Melancholic and cold, it starts sweet but soon gives way to petrichor. It suits me perfectly; it’s not overpowering and I feel comfortable wearing it; I might just adore lilacs. It’s curious: delicate and sexy all at once. It smells like the final scene of the film, and that says it all. It’s not for everyone: my mother found it repulsive and said it smelled of urine, which shocked me as I detect nothing of the sort.
It wasn’t what I expected. The petrichor is brutal and the lilacs don’t sound natural. I hoped for something more floral, as they say it smells on her, but here it smells more like the scene. At first, it smells like my grandmother’s old perfumes: lots of petrichor, wet stone, moss, a dark castle basement. It comes with a sample of Cuir Noir from the same brand, and I prefer that one. It’s quite masculine and the quality shows.
A great perfume with cold, dry ingredients. The blend of ambergris and flowers emulates a scent of blood, but not abruptly. If you have experience with scents, you’ll love it for being unique. The only thing I didn’t like is that it only comes in 30ml; I hope they produce larger sizes later. In short, it’s a very original and easy-to-wear jewel.
@Polydistortion, could you tell us how the scent smells?
I feared it might be too feminine or unwearable, but it turned out to be very pleasant, even for the Daily Mail. The first batch sold out in the blink of an eye; I just hope the next ones maintain the same formula.
