The worst thing I’ve ever smelt in my life
I agree with the person who said it smells like Sunny chews, it’s a very sweet toffee smell with a touch of honey. It doesn’t smell herbal or fresh at all like people have said. At most in the opening you notice bergamot in the background adding a bit of contrast but afterwards it’s a slightly synthetic musky toffee/dulce de leche sweet. It lasts several hours on skin and days on clothes. For me it was too much, I can’t cope with scents that gourmand.
An order I placed with Lush has just arrived where I ordered a soap bar in this scent, I fell in love in a split second because who doesn’t like a milk chew? This smells of toffee, milk chew, like dulce de leche, but more precisely for those who live in Chile or where Calaf or Ambrosoli products are sold, this smells of Sunny chewy sweets 💚. Obviously it’s a sweet gourmand fragrance, not suitable for those who don’t like smelling of food, who prefer something fresh or subtle. It will be my next purchase at Lush.
The first time I wore it I didn’t like it at all, however I gave it another chance and now I love it, to me it smells of sweet fruits with a citrus touch like orange. When I’ve worn it several people have told me I smell of strawberry even though I don’t quite get that on myself.
Pretty linear, although it opens with a very sweet honey, within minutes it dries down menthol-like. It reminds me of those menthol honey sweets you buy at the chemist. Like Strepsils or something like that.
This is my first Lush body spray and oh my god, new addiction unlocked. The Lush world is very particular when it comes to fragrances and they don’t have mass appeal, that attracts me to the brand enormously. The first seconds are kind of weirdly chemical which doesn’t convince me but as time passes I fall in love with it more and more. I smell vanilla and honey, it’s sweet and in the opening I get a buttery note that takes me to heaven. It hugs you and stays with you, I want to wear it every day but it’s definitely for cold weather. I can’t imagine wearing this beast in South American or Mediterranean heat. Edit* wearing it in summer in the late afternoon/evening is totally valid
I quite like it, it makes me a bit sad to read such bad comments 🙁 The first thing I always say is that Lush fragrances are very different from other commercial ones so it makes no sense to compare them because the perfume experience is different. It’s a sweet and tender smell where you perceive citrus and toffee very softly, for me it’s a very Lush smell. It doesn’t have the typical vanilla notes so it’s not a common sweet smell, I smell a lot of citrus, honey and maybe a slight herbal touch (?). Also I think it works for all seasons of the year because its smell is very soft and personally it gives me a sense of calm. I like it because I feel it stands out from traditional gourmands, if you’re looking for something classic and familiar then this fragrance is not for you, also I don’t recommend buying it blind because again, Lush perfumes are and perform differently. Its sillage and longevity is still really good considering it’s only a body spray!
I don’t like it at all :(! I thought it would be a sweetish smell, toffee, caramel, but no, all I smell is a super strong and super synthetic citrus. I don’t really understand why it’s described as such a sweet fragrance because there’s nothing sweet about it. In contrast, Let the Good Times Roll from Lush really is a sweet and cloying fragrance.
Disappointed. It smells like air freshener, it’s something synthetic and generic that lasts for many hours. I love honey in fragrances, but I can’t find it anywhere here, this is just a sweet lolly, a bit like raspberry lollies, from the caramel with a slight tangy touch. Unfortunately, nothing else to add 🙁
I’ve always loved Lush’s Honey soap, Honey shower gel and Scrubee exfoliating butter bar and I always asked in Chile when the intoxicating fragrance of those products would arrive…. when it arrived a couple of years ago I bought it… what a huge disappointment!!!.. I love the brand and its products…. but it’s a pretty strong and overpowering overly sweet scent – better if you want something sweet and delicious that smells of honey get the Scandal / Scandal by Night perfume, which is an addictive sweetness….
It’s one of the worst perfume smells I’ve tried and I’m a fan of gourmand perfumes. It’s totally synthetic, it’s so sweet it’s almost sickening how cloying it is and it smells like air freshener. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
It arrived today and I was convinced I would like the smell because they said it was very sweet (and I have a real sweet tooth)… But there’s something that didn’t quite convince me. I don’t like it at all honestly, I don’t know which note is wrong for me but I’m going to have to exchange it for another product… But it has good lasting power. I sprayed it on my clothes this morning and it still smells super strong, I’d say the same intensity as when I applied it. I think on fabrics this lasts incredibly long. If you like the smell I think for the price it’s brilliant. It’s very good quality. Plus, the good thing about Lush is that you can exchange or return any product if you’re not fully convinced, so you’ve got nothing to lose by trying! Even though this particular scent wasn’t for me, I’m really happy with Lush, with the service I received (they’re HYPER friendly), the order arrived super fast and I love their philosophy. In fact I’ve already ordered LGTR 😊 I’ll keep buying from this company! 💖
It has really good sillage and longevity. It smells like toffee with lots of honey and sugar (a little caramel sweet) and with a hint, in the background, of that generic Lush soaps and other products smell you notice even when you walk past one of their shops, from outside, without needing to enter that vegan fantasy world where even a colourful bath bomb looks attractive to your wallet. That feeling in my nose is probably caused by its orange note. I loved it. The first time I tried it in store I fell in love and, once home, it gave me a lot of peace and tenderness when I put my nose to the sprayer without applying it… until I started actually wearing it. I wore it to go out on an unusually cold autumn morning, on my skin it turned extremely sweet, to the point of being sickly. I gave it a second chance and what a mistake, I literally almost fainted on the Tube. What dizziness! What a bad day I had… and yes, I mean day, because on top of that its performance is excellent. I love sweet scents but this body spray is too much. If you like sugaaar in huge amounts (like in Fantasy by Britney Spears) you might enjoy it. In cold temperatures, of course😬
Lush soap turned into perfume, yes perfume, for a body spray it lasts for ages, it’s the #ultramegaconcentrated version of the soap, it’s perfect for cold days, when you want to be a walking caramel, it has a strong citrus opening, the one I notice most is orange, after half an hour of wear the honey comes out with the caramel, I feel like a bread pudding covered in caramel, I love it, if you like a gourmand and realistic fragrance, this is one for you. 10/10

I agree with those who said it smells like Sunny sweets; it’s a super sweet toffee scent with a hint of honey. It doesn’t smell herbal or fresh as others claimed. Only at the very beginning do you notice a touch of bergamot, but afterwards it’s purely synthetic toffee/caramel dulce de leche with a musky base. It lasts several hours on skin and days on clothes. For me, it was too much; I simply can’t handle such gourmand aromas.
My Lush order just arrived with a soap in this scent and I fell in love instantly. Who doesn’t love a milk chew? It smells of toffee, milk chew, like dulce de leche, but for those of us living in Chile or where Calaf and Ambrosoli products are available, it smells exactly like Sunny sweets 💚. Obviously it’s sweet and gourmand, not for those who dislike smelling like food and prefer something fresh or discreet. It will be my next Lush purchase.
