Oud Tabac is the type that tries to hit on you with a super cheesy style. He dresses to the nines, he’s a beast, and he chews gum like a proper bastard 🐐. He doesn’t seduce you; he runs you over.
I’m a fan of this house; the quality is brutal, the scents are intense, and the price-to-quality ratio beats many rivals. The opening is weird, subjectively it smells like liquor and something fortified, but it disappears in minutes and gives way to saffron, tobacco, oud, vanilla, and woods. It reminded me of Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco Edition, but with an undeclared hint of anise. Great quality, trail, and projection, although it’s the one that least excited me because it’s a slightly overused scent, full of imitations. But if you don’t know Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford or Arabesque by Merchant of Venice, this will blow your mind. Unisex, more masculine, for cold weather, formal or informal, ideal for those over 28. An interesting tobacco scent. Oud Tabac is fruity tobacco that, thank goodness, has little sweetness. It’s woody and amber tobacco with a nutty touch and an oriental vibe from the oud, but it’s not an ‘oudy’ fragrance. The dry down is soft tobacco, woody, slightly sweet, fruity, and powdery. It smells like Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, also like a cross between Spicebomb and Mancera Red Tobacco. In short, it’s another mature, gorgeous, gourmand tobacco fragrance, perfect for cold days.
