It’s a scent similar to Acqua di Gio but with a VERY herbal touch; it’s quite good for the price it is.

Smells like Acqua di Gio with a smoky, creamy green note.
At first, it recalls l’eau d’Issey slightly due to that yuzu-like citrus (less piercing and sweeter), before becoming a blend of both scents within a few minutes. Although it doesn’t have the quality of previous ones, considering how current formulations are, it’s not a bad option if you’re strapped for cash or looking for something fresh and non-intrusive for everyday wear. Regarding performance, on my skin it lasts from 3 to 5-6 hours depending quite a bit on the temperature; it projects reasonably well (for a citrus) for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, then sits close to the skin. As a curiosity, it lasts much longer on clothes and is noticeable the next day. Also, at the same place where I picked it up (Mercadona), they have their own version called ‘Capítulo Marino’; it’s not identical but I like its scent more (it lacks that slightly sweet note that doesn’t quite convince me in this Victorio & Lucchino one) and its price is literally half. In short, these men’s waters don’t seem as bad as some reviews paint them; one must keep in mind they are 150ml for less than £10, and unfortunately some designer perfumes I’ve tried these last few months don’t surpass them in either scent or longevity, so for daily use I see them as very acceptable, and meanwhile the money you save you can invest in a perfume that truly is worth it.
