I was hoping for a more modern take on the brilliant Nature by the same house, so I bought it blindly. A grave mistake. It’s a dense fragrance where rhubarb drowns everything, erasing the tangerine and smothering the floral notes in an overly acidic, lumpy puree. After a while, a sleepy vetiver emerges from this concrete. It’s poorly balanced, with a unisex spirit but no nuance. Green? More like the gloomiest part of Fangorn forest, complete with the acidity of rot. In short: a rhubarb battering ram.
