I live in Argentina and need to know the price of Ode à l’amour to buy it.
Perfumes from this brand go off very quickly with age; it’s happened to me with several bottles. For example, with this one. A key detail before buying for a collection… I keep others in perfect condition, but these sometimes don’t even last two years from purchase.
It was ahead of its time. I discovered it in Austria, in those gorgeous YR boutiques so beautifully decorated, where you’re given gifts and samples that are a pleasure to receive. On smelling it, it seemed different: intense, with an acidic and deep opening, strong florals, slightly woody, and with top-notch longevity. It stood out for being innovative. YR perfumes are always a good option and very accessible. Years have passed, and we’ve seen red berries in many formulas; I must admit some current ones remind me of this one from so long ago. They’re day-to-day perfumes worth having and enjoying until they’re gone; for a collection, I prefer others. A lovely memory of this scent.
