I have the bottle and it smells fantastic, but I don’t understand why others detect Ombre Leather. I notice nothing of leather or suede; instead, it’s very citrusy and fruity, almost with pear notes.
Sukimuki No. 4 is pure Mexican pride and one of the best scents I have ever sniffed; the ingredients are natural and blended perfectly. The performance is beastly: it projects and lasts for ages. Suede and citrus dominate, with leather emerging upon drying just like Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather, but with better projection and longevity. Perhaps the TF is a touch more refined, but in terms of performance, this wins by a landslide. It costs a quarter of the price and smells almost identical. I was surprised by the quality and will continue exploring the house. A note on the sprays: three for indoors, maximum four or five for outdoors. Scent: 9.0, projects for four hours, lasts eight on skin and ten on clothes. Highly recommended.

Wow, that’s the key word. It’s a winter beast mode that I absolutely love, although it isn’t versatile. I only recommend it for cold climates, but when it’s chilly, it’s simply brilliant.

I loved it immensely. I own Tuscan Leather, which smells like a tannery—strong and smoky—and this Sukimuki No.4 dries just like TF after two hours, staying that way for quite some time. It smells ideal, like a fine suede jacket that retains its character all day. It projects for four or five hours and lasts eight hours on the skin. At $50, it’s perfect for dining out or going out at night. Ideal for autumn, winter, and summer evenings. Since I have several leather jackets, I apply a little to them, and they smell almost new again.

Continuing with the Sukimuki collection… I wore No. 4 to a dinner party at home with my girlfriend. I really loved the suede scent, which reminded me very faintly of Ombre Leather, although it is more linear and wearable. (7/10)
