Matos hits the mark again; nothing routine here, just fresh, bold and occasionally daring scents. In this jewel, three notes stand out: banana, cypriol and oud. The development is very clear, sweet at first, then a cypriol/oud combo with sweet lingering traces as it dries down.

This is a very particular fragrance, not for everyone. At first, it smells of an incredibly realistic banana, but after 30 minutes the oud takes a turn towards a stable scent that I didn’t enjoy; it gave me the sensation of a banana about to rot or with its skin discarded (I apologise, but that was exactly what I felt). It’s not a bad perfume, it has quality and niche credentials, but it’s not for me or what I expected. You either love it or hate it, depending on your olfactory taste. I see it as good for summer, but not for daytime or in heavy heat as it can be overpowering; in cool evenings, it’s perfect.
