Smells like warm, talc-infused freshness. I think it’s unisex; my boyfriend wears Halloween Men and I can definitely smell a resemblance. For @Ellagriss: if you’re from Mexico, look into the Paris Fragrances world, they have the inspiration for this and it’s gorgeous.
This was my signature in university. I adore it; it comforts and embraces you. I’ve ordered (and keep ordering) from equivalence houses to recreate it, as I’ve ruled out finding another that matches and fills that void.
This is my second review and also for a fragrance unfortunately discontinued… it was the second one my aunt gave me in the 2000s and the impact it had on me as a teenager is immense; I treasure it dearly. It’s for every occasion, like a second skin, a clean scent. I don’t think I’ve ever felt another ginger note like this, what a wonder! I love this aroma so much it makes me angry it can’t even be found in a dupe. If anyone knows of a perfume vaguely similar, I’d be grateful.
For years I wanted to smell this, and thanks to @jerry drake it’s finally possible. Upon spraying, it opens with bergamot and ginger; the bergamot is acidic, even bitter and spicy, while the ginger softens over time. Then floral notes emerge with a soapy veil, talc-like, slightly vanilla, giving a clean, fresh, and soft floral scent, nothing invasive. At the end, the musk and sandalwood add warmth without losing freshness, with a subtle vanilla base. It’s lovely to feel cleanliness and freshness with warm and tender nuances. A true privilege to know this Blv Femme.
I’ve always been drawn to Morillas perfumes; this is one of them. If only I could find it again. In 2005 I managed to get it once in a pharmacy in another city and haven’t seen it since. It’s exquisite; it comes back to my olfactory map of recurrence. It feels like a real masterpiece.
Here it is, the jewel, it’s liquid precious stones. It shines, it dazzles. I had it, I’d love to wear it again. It’s a Morillas luxury for Bulgari.
I imagine a girl from those years looking in the mirror: new dress, perfect hairstyle, matching jewellery… only the right perfume is missing. She has many bottles in her wardrobe, all luxurious, but she, moved, doesn’t know which to choose. Her hand caresses the Blv bottle. Buying this perfume, one of Morillas’ best creations, wasn’t easy; I had to wait for favourable conditions. It’s a jewel, essential if you love this line; it adapts to the body and feels incredibly pampering. It represents the beauty, elegance and quality of Bulgari, clearly inspiring the male version. It starts citrusy with ginger, not excessively rebellious, and becomes creamy in the base with musk. It lifts your spirits, you feel good: clean, fresh, well-perfumed. In the middle, it blends with wisteria and acacia, but lemon and bergamot are noticeable. The base is warm but always fresh. I see it as refined, easy for any occasion; pity production has stopped, it would be perfect for dressing elegantly and smelling special. Totally unisex if you can find it.
What nostalgia… what purity! A fragment of my youth. It seemed so beautiful and elegant, so distant and formal. I think it’s discontinued… what a pity, it could be the signature of many women. After so much time it’s hard to define it, only impressions come, but in summary: distinguished, creamy and full of good memories.

I owned two bottles, but when I went to buy a third, I found the sad and terrible news that it had been discontinued (about 10 years ago now), so I treasure the few drops left in the last bottle so I never forget this beautiful, exquisite fragrance with which I felt unique because no one else smelled like me in an era when everyone smelled like Halloween…
It gave me the impression of a fresh, herbal unisex. I only have the samples they gave me, but I don’t know if it’s discontinued or not.
It’s my perfume of a lifetime, the one that defines me most, and I regret that it has disappeared. I’ve worn it since 2000, loved it from day one, and carried it for over a decade; I also bought Absolute and Notte, which are also out of catalogue, and it’s a shame. But a few months ago I got lucky: I found a broken bottle without a cap but with the perfect liquid. What a feeling opening it, like meeting someone dear again after years. I use it sparingly so it lasts. I have many perfumes I like, but none have surpassed it. I don’t know if I’ll ever find something that identifies me in the same way, but for now, I love it.

BLV had a calming, refined, and sensual effect. It shares with the men’s version the ginger, but here in the middle it goes another way: a wisteria with vanilla that turns cold thanks to the ginger and musk. When it dries on the skin it’s delicious, making you want to bite the neck of the person wearing it. Both this and the men’s have that typical cool-warm air of new perfumes. Absolutely unisex. An unjustly discontinued work of art, one of Bvlgari’s best. Thanks be that the men’s version is still available, but I say this was even better. If you catch it cheap, don’t hesitate, it’s a jewel.
This was a gem. A dreamlike perfume with no trace of cheesiness. I don’t recall it as clearly as I’d like, but I can say it made me think of that strange moment when you’re neither asleep nor awake, that brief instant when your mind surrenders to sleep and rest yet remains aware of the real world. BLV had a strange calming quality, yet it was refined and sensual. It shares with its male counterpart a prominent ginger note, but in the heart, it takes a different turn: a violet-flavoured glicinia that becomes cool thanks to the ginger and musk. The dry-down on skin was delicious; it made you want to bite the neck of whoever wore it. Both this and the men’s version had that cool-and-warm vibe that defines so many perfumes of the new millennium. Absolutely unisex. An unjustly discontinued masterpiece from years ago, one of Bvlgari’s finest. We can be grateful the men’s version is still available, though I’d dare say this was even better. If you find it at a good price, don’t hesitate; it’s a treasure.

A delicious work of art in perfumery. One of my favourite perfumes, without a doubt.
In a capricious world, especially among humans, there are sets of twins; the surprise is greater if they are a woman and a man. An example is Scarlett Johansson and her brother Hunter. Why start with this? Because I think Bvlgari gave birth to a pair of aromatic twins, a girl and a boy, with the same name. They have similarities to be twins, though not identical. What’s curious is that the girl was born a year before her brother. Speaking of the ‘girl’, Blv is warm and seductive: it opens with energetic ginger and bergamot, softened by floral notes, and its charm is enhanced with vanilla, musk and sandalwood. It has an exquisite scent, lasts long and projects moderately, with a complex duality: it combines the angelic tenderness of a sweet girl with the intrepid temperament of a woman made of iron who wants to ‘eat up’ the world. Congratulations to Bvlgari and Alberto Morillas for creating such beautiful scents. Could they be the ‘fantastic twins’ of perfumery? Perhaps. Fragrance: 9.5/10. Longevity: 8.5/10. Projection: 8/10. Versatility: 9.5/10. Price: 8/10.
Wonderful women’s perfume by Alberto Morillas (I’m not sure if it’s already discontinued) that I had the luck to give to my mum, sister and two friends. I thought it was very versatile, not intrusive but noticeable, with lots of charm. It was a good gift, except for one friend who found it too strong and ‘feminine’, saying it suffocated her. She wears Paloma Picasso.

You’re not sensual, but you’re so enigmatic that sometimes you can be warm, depending on who breathes you in. Ginger is your protagonist, always alongside bergamot; they never disappear, but then they are accompanied by a garland of blue flowers and a frozen vanilla, adopted by sandalwood branches in winter. Slightly musky and spicy; you are an extravagant flower sprouting from a frozen wave. BLV is an androgynous figure born of snow: topaz eyes, white lips. You approach and with your frozen hand you touch my heart, tattooing me with an armour of ice and fragile crystal. Now it’s up to you: use it as a breastplate or turn your warmth into a perfumed spring.

This fragrance was my first love at 16. I found it in a magazine and the sample fell in love with me; my cousin fell in love too, haha. It’s cold, clean, elegant and sexy. It lasts a fortune. I use it and the next day it’s still on the clothes. I think it goes great in autumn and winter in cold climates, it projects better 🙂
BLV has been for me a unique, special and original fragrance. Just smelling it and I already enjoy, it calms me, I like it, it comforts me, it relaxes me and it cheers me up. It’s contradictory: when it comes out it smells of ginger and seems fresh, but it’s warm; it’s light but intense. You perceive the sandalwood, the vanilla gives it a sweet touch, it’s a beautiful soft perfume, delicate and a little spicy. It has been exquisite to me. Surprisingly good. Excellent creation by Alberto Morillas.
I agree with Ariadna: Blv is an elegant perfume with lots of personality. Here, ginger is the protagonist, and in combination with the other notes, it produces a fresh and clean aroma, a persistent and cool floral (I can’t think of another word). Definitely, it’s a fragrance that doesn’t go unnoticed. Blv isn’t for innocent girls. It makes me think of a sophisticated woman who knows what she wants, intelligent, strong, even calculating.
