Oud Saffron by Orientica Premium

A dupe for Maison Lancôme’s Oud Bouquet… incredibly similar. Of course, the Lancôme one is finer in ingredients, but since it’s discontinued, this is a good option.

In my opinion, it’s an excellent fragrance with a floral and woody scent. If you don’t like oud, don’t go for this, as it’s not a blind buy. I loved it; it’s versatile and has good longevity. Perhaps the only drawback is the sillage; it’s not bad but could be better. Lasted over 6 hours on skin and up to 10 on clothes, projecting about 4 inches. I used 8-10 sprays for outdoors. Worth the price; I got it for $50, but anything over $70 isn’t worth it. If you try it, like it, and it’s a good price, it’s a definite yes. Good quality, nice scent, beautiful bottle; I really liked it. For me, it’s an 8 out of 10. The worst part is the atomiser.

As the name suggests: lots of saffron followed by oud. For those who know Swiss Arabian, this is that bright oud style; those are the dominant notes. It’s a luminous, oriental fragrance, totally unisex, with good fixation and performance, above the average of a Western EDT. It shines in cold climates, day and night, but suits those who enjoy the Arabic vibe. It’s not a mainstream Western scent, although the Eastern public already knows it and wears it without issues here. Good quality perfume, fitting the price. In the comparison with other perfumes in the Rosa Oud combo, I disagree because this Orientica one doesn’t have rose and is mostly saffron (floral and woody). Give it a try.

I like this perfume; in my opinion, it’s very good in terms of longevity. Suitable for night wear or cold days. Longevity is around 10 hours.

If you own Shaghaf Oud, this is redundant, and vice versa. Perhaps the only difference is that the Orientica version feels spicier and more pungent, whereas the Swiss Arabian one is softer thanks to the rose note.

Another one that smells the same…. pure Oud, which is the only thing left on my skin. I had high expectations with this one, but it ended up being another in my collection of spices and Oud and Oud and Oud. Poor longevity. Blind buy: NO

An honest, unpretentious review because I can’t distinguish notes in this fragrance and don’t know what to say: It smells like vintage cream for grandmothers. Thank goodness I bought the Orientica set which included it, rather than falling for the TikTok hype where everyone praises it, because truly, that is what I smell—a freshly bathed grandmother who put on her scented cream, then gives you a hug and leaves you with that characteristic aroma you’ll never forget. I know every nose is a world and you might love it, try it first; it’s certainly not a blind buy.

Hello! If you’re seeking a unique and extremely pleasant fragrance, Orientica’s Oud Saffron could be a great option for you. In my opinion and to my personal taste, this perfume has become one of my favourites due to its delicious aroma and excellent longevity. Furthermore, its projection is outstanding, meaning you can be sure the scent will stay with you throughout the day without the need for constant re-application. However, I must mention that some people might not enjoy the opening notes, as the initial smell resembles powder and incense and is rather strong or distinct. Nevertheless, as time passes, the fragrance evolves and its aroma becomes delightful for almost everyone; it’s a complex yet delicious, sweet, woody, and powdery scent. If you like this unique and aromatic combination of notes, you will undoubtedly love this perfume. Overall, if you’re looking for an elegant, long-lasting, unique, and highly versatile fragrance, I would definitely recommend giving Orientica’s Oud Saffron a try.

A couple of years ago, I was vaping chocolate chip cookie scent and this smells exactly the same. I went looking to compare and they are identical. Of course, it’s that classic rose and oud combo from Oriental perfumery, but right at the start, you can detect that chocolate. If I’d known that, I’d be wearing it as a perfume, haha. It doesn’t smell bad; it’s lovely, but the projection isn’t strong. I’ve worn it for two days and no one has commented, nor does it last all day, though it outperforms the average. I picked it up as a tester for $50, having seen it priced up to $150. I won’t pay that, but $40 or $50 is fair. It’s unisex, suits me and my wife perfectly. The dry-down reminds me of Montale Black Aoud, same rose. Someone who smells it for the first time might just adore it. Thanks to Al Haramain and Orientica for giving us these scents at such good prices.
