  I picked up this attar to blend with my other chypres and extend longevity, but honestly, it smells incredible on its own. I tested it alongside Noir de Noir and they pair beautifully, one on each wrist. Hayaa is slightly more masculine at first, yet the trail is super feminine; it smells like a man up close and a woman when the sillage reaches you. The top notes are intoxicating, with amber and wood pulling the rose into a hypnotic abyss. It’s elegant, mysterious, and seductive—perfect for a black-tie wedding in a long gown. I had a dilemma choosing a perfume for my brother’s vineyard wedding; I went with Noir de Noir because it smells of wine, chocolate, and roses, but Hayaa doesn’t fall short, I just chose the other for the venue. It has good longevity, still clear on my skin after five hours, though it’s now a skin scent. For me, it’s unisex with a feminine leaning. I recommend it for autumn and winter; it will certainly wrap you in a halo of mystery if worn at night.
