I have an on-again, off-again relationship with this perfume. I like it, but when it dries down after half an hour, it smells of sour tangerine which makes me feel very nauseous, not sweet. It resembles YSL’s Libre but is not a dupe: Libre is sweeter and this is more floral. It is okay, but I would not buy it again; I prefer YSL’s Libre. That said, for the price it is magnificent, has good longevity, and is great for daytime, autumn/winter, and everyday wear.
I love it; it is a white floral vanilla scent, sexy, nocturnal, and unisex for a formidable woman. It starts sweet and then loses that feminine sweetness to settle on the skin, gaining a masculine air without smelling like a man, but rather that scent left when a man hugs you and leaves a mark on your clothes (presumably the lavender). I haven’t tested the longevity yet, but it is very persistent. My boyfriend says it smells like nona. If you are from here, the Pure Extreme from Bois seems very similar to me but less sweet, more unisex, elegant, and mature. I haven’t tried the Libre yet. I don’t think it will be hard to like if you enjoy white florals and intense perfumes. It is not for hot days, but rather for autumn, winter, and fresh spring nights. I will update the review as I use it more.
Good, pretty, and cheap from Zara. I have the Libre EDP and it smells very similar, though this is sweeter; they say the Intense version smells like this, but I haven’t tried it. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 10+ on skin and clothes, Projection: 9/10. Would I buy it again? Yes, to save money. The bottle looks good, simple, and minimalist.
Pure elegance. It is a 100% dupe, but even if it weren’t, it would still be incredible. It conveys that vibe of a confident businesswoman.
I won’t dwell on the similarity to Libre Intense as it has been said enough. It is an intoxicating perfume; I love that the lavender and that white floral vanilla touch are noticeable. The longevity is tremendous, along with the projection and sillage, which lingers in the room. Besides being cheap, you save the pounds on YSL’s Libre Intense because it smells the same, and even the Zara version lasts longer on me than the original. I own both and have compared them.
At first, I thought it was too ‘strong’ and lavender-heavy, something I didn’t like and felt a bit overpowering. But then I realised it is super sweet, elegant, and sexy. It is a wonderful scent, very attractive, with excellent projection and longevity. Totally recommended.
It is my favourite from Zara and my go-to for everything: work, meetings, nights out, or dinners. It is super versatile and, although it is identical to the Libre Intense I also own, this lasts longer on my skin. At night, I combine them and it creates a rich vanilla and lavender explosion. The fixations and trail are excellent; it is an empowering scent that makes you feel dressed up. I highly recommend it.
It is identical to Libre Intense but offers better longevity and projection; I’ve tested both and this one won by a landslide.
It is identical to YSL’s Libre Intense on my skin, with that perfect clean lavender note ideal for daytime or post-shower. It lasts about 6 hours (unless I use a base cream), but on clothes it lasts for days. It projects strongly for the first 3 hours and remains noticeable until the end. It’s not my absolute favourite, but given the price and versatility, I would buy it again without hesitation.
I own both Libre Intense and Golden Decade, and honestly, they are identical. The definitive test was when I wore this and my husband (who shares my bottle of Intense) asked if I’d switched to Libre. It leaves a trail, is potent, sweet, and lasts for hours. It was impossible not to buy one to keep in my handbag. I also wear it alongside the Libre EDT to add an extra touch of sweetness.
It’s very similar to Libre Intense, which is why I bought it; I don’t have the money for YSL and this satisfies me. I’m surprised it’s so complex and zero-linear. Excellent value for money. The opening is very lavender-based and I lose it quickly; I’m starting to perceive the orange blossom notes, which I don’t love in perfumes but do in real life. After a while, a vanilla is felt that, while sweet, isn’t sugary or cloying. Sometimes it reminds me of clean clothes drying in the sun, for that fresh lavender that stays hidden very deep in the background. And that’s when I have the epiphany that I would like more lavender, less of the other stuff. My initial wish was to have the Libre, but the EDP version.
In love with this fragrance. A very edible vanilla with the citrus base of tangerine; it’s delicious. I don’t sense the lavender very much, but I like it that way, because for me that note is a bit invasive. Its longevity is really good, and the projection too. The trail isn’t huge, but I like that it’s one of those intimate scents that accompany you without invading others. The best perfume I’ve tried from Zara.
I tried the original and, besides being more expensive, it didn’t last anything on my skin. This one lasts much longer and smells the same.
I understand the similarity with Libre. When both are first applied, they have a very similar accord. But that’s where it ends. Golden Decade is a €20 perfume that performs well, lasting about two or three hours with a moderate trail without varying much from the start. It has little development, smelling the same from beginning to end. Fresh, citrusy with a touch of lavender. Very pleasant.
FANTASTIC PERFUME! It’s a dupe of YSL’s Libre Intense with nothing to envy. Of course, it’s not the same, but it delivers great performance in longevity, trail, and scent. I don’t have the YSL one and would love to own it one day, but for now I’m happy with this; I prefer to invest in other perfumes.
Very similar to YSL’s Libre Intense, with that perfect balance between sweet and citrus-floral… I love it.
I’m on my second bottle and I’ve been so charmed by this scent that it was love at first sight. To my nose, it’s very similar to YSL’s Libre, but it has a note that, when sprayed, people tell me smells like grape. This in a hot climate of 35°-40°C forces me to reapply it every 3 hours with a little puff to keep it fresh.
I have little of it and it’s a fantastic perfume. Super elegant, fresh, and warm at the same time (I’m not sure if that makes sense, ha), in no way cloying or sharp (I was worried about the lavender, but I don’t sense it; it must be well blended). It’s not annoying, with a gentle trail. I reapply it even though it’s still on my skin because I’m fascinated by it. In autumn-winter I feel comfortable; I’m not sure if it will be too much in summer… I’ll have to try it later, but for now I enjoy it immensely. I would buy it again.
It’s a dupe of Libre, yes, very similar but not identical. First, it doesn’t last as long; Libre lasted longer. Second, here the lavender is less noticeable, with more orange blossom and vanilla, making it more like Libre Intense. I detect a strange hint of burnt paper at the end, leaving vanilla predominant. To me, it smells like subtle caramel with an undisclosed woody note. No dupe is ever equal to the original YSL; for the price, the ingredients differ, creating a different experience. It has development, but the lavender is what gives the character, and they haven’t imitated it well. Although you pay for the brand, advertising, etc. I repeat, none are equal to the original; they only give the vibe. If you want something delicious and beautiful with your own style, I prefer Maison Alhambra: it costs less, between $12 and $18 compared to Zara’s $26, and they have both regular and Intense versions. PS: Zara launched an Elixir of Golden Decade; I haven’t tried it, but I assume it lasts longer than this EDP. They also released flakergold of Golden Decade in the Elixir version.
I’m sorry, but this fragrance smells awful. That lavender reminds me of floor cleaners or old things, so I sold it.
It’s a perfume I didn’t love for a long time, but lately it has suited my skin better. I had a decant of Libre and they smell almost identical on me, plus this lasts much longer. So far, I don’t detect the lavender scent that many mention. It starts fresh and then becomes powdery.
I like it a lot as it dries down; it feels clean. Right after spraying it has a slightly synthetic smell, but once it settles, it’s very rich. It has excellent longevity and for the price it has, you can’t ask for more.
This perfume is madness! If you want the Libre, EDP or Intense, you’ve bought this; it’s cheap and it’s the same thing. Good dupe. We love you, Zara.
I’ve compared it with Libre and I don’t feel they resemble each other much; I only notice a certain similarity for a few minutes, but afterwards this becomes very vanilla-based while Libre goes more for the fresh side. I also compared it with Libre Le Parfum and this resembles it much more, but I prefer the sweetness of Le Parfum. As for projection and longevity, it’s a 10; on skin it lasts about 5-6 hours and on clothes until I wash them. It’s a very pretty fragrance for temperate or cold climates, if I were to recommend it.
A very good dupe of YSL Libre, plus it lasts a long time on skin and clothes. An excellent alternative: an elegant scent and not cloying if you spray just the right amount.
A very good clone of YSL Libre; among the 15 or 20 I tried at Zara, this was the one that made me say OMG, how rich it smells… You can detect that mandarin and floral undertones… Very feminine and rich, I liked it. The price is brilliant, an 8.5 out of 10.
I think this is the most complimented perfume in my collection; it outshines any designer brand by a mile. When I wear it, my friends, colleagues, and even strangers on the street praise it, even at the gym. Personally, I’m not entirely taken with it, but I must say it’s an endless source of compliments. The longevity is brutal; I can smell it all day, something that happens with very few fragrances.
It is my favourite fragrance. It smells exactly like YSL Libre and lasts just as long.
I’m sharing my experience with this perfume because most people just call it a good dupe, but I haven’t tried the original YSL. Although the notes seem fresh and soft, it’s actually a warm, elegant scent that is addictive and something I’d love to wear in autumn. I don’t know if it’s particularly trendy, but I couldn’t care less; I find it charming, sensual, and perfect for night. Even after a shower, it still lingers, and I’m very impressed with its quality.
The longevity and projection of this perfume are spectacular.
I understand the hype. It lasts a long time, it’s sweet with a citrus opening and the lavender adds mystery. I see it as a winter scent. Not for me, it’s too sweet, but for sweet lovers it’s a good option for quality, longevity and price.
Impressive longevity and trail; it’s 98% Libre. Could say it’s one of the best inspirations out there.
On my skin it’s an exquisite sweet jasmine. Elegant yet youthful, ideal for daytime. Lasts 6-7 hours with a good initial trail. I love it for the price.
To me it smells more like Libre Intense than Libre. Smells very good.
Wow! Reminds me of YSL Libre but like the ‘Le Parfum’. I love it.
Rich, delicious, smells fantastic and lasts forever. Smells exactly like Libre; it’s the same thing for less cash.
A fine dupe of YSL Libre.
Bought it based on the reviews. It’s potent, almost giving me a headache. It lasts, but the trail is low. At first it smells like Libre, then it changes. As a dupe, Alhambra’s Leonie is better: identical but softer, with something that makes me dizzy. Not for me.
I adore it, but in the end it becomes too avo-cinnamon for my taste.
Top-notch fragrance. Intense, with an avo-cinnamon and lavender heart. Lasts all day (easily 6 hours) and leaves a trail. Libre is finer, but for the price, this is a triumph.
