A truly versatile fragrance, perfect for everyday wear and all seasons. Despite the oud, it has a fresh, spicy note that makes it suitable year-round. It opens with resin and oud, but this isn’t your typical oud; it’s soft and fresh as the sea, yet warm and smoky. It doesn’t sting the nose and can be worn at full strength without being overwhelming, which speaks to the quality of the eco-friendly alcohol and ingredients. In the dry down, only three notes stand out: oud, lemon, and pepper. My mother, who usually hates perfumes, tried it and said literally, ‘I really like this.’ A friend loved it so much he asked what I was wearing. It’s easy to wear, though you need to get used to it a bit. I recommend it for ages 20 to 50. It inspires confidence, light, and authority; it’s my favourite for officiating and makes me feel secure with a touch of joy. It doesn’t have a notable evolution, always feeling equally good. The longevity is good: four hours of projection and six to eight on the skin. It’s very well balanced; it doesn’t aim to be a beast in projection, but rather for people to notice you when they speak to you or pass by. It’s a personal scent, not invasive. At first, it didn’t grab me, but now I wear it for command roles such as teacher, police officer, or conference speaker. I love it because it’s not pretentious or oppressively authoritative; it evokes maturity and authority with a smile. No one wants to be ordered around, but if you’re friendly, it changes everything. This is what good oud is. Fair price. 8/10
