Floral for her, for men only if you dare to go sweet with a spicy twist. Smells nice, nothing revolutionary, but worth it if you like bold florals. A perfect white for heat. I like it, but it’s not a priority; I’d love a mini to re-evaluate it in spring.

Bottle of aromatherapy. Opens spicy and citrusy, then after 10 minutes the flowers (neroli and orange blossom) take over. Smells like clean laundry with a metallic touch and a creamy sandalwood base. It’s linear but exquisite. Lasts around 8 hours with a persistent, personal sillage. Ideal for spring/summer and the office. In extreme heat, if over-applied, it can become tiring. In three words: neat, sophisticated, and cheerful. 8/10.

My decant of Bois Imperial arrived yesterday, and upon trying it, oh surprise, it smelled of freshly made yellow omelette! Haha. I don’t know why, but strangely, it doesn’t smell bad.
I only detect the florals (orange blossom, neroli, and jasmine). It’s fresh and pleasant, but very flat, with little projection.
I agree with others: it’s a white floral that leans heavily towards the feminine side. It doesn’t seem unisex to me. It’s a lovely fragrance, but for a unisex neroli, there’s already the wonderful Eau des Sens by Diptyque.
It is remarkable how tastes vary. Personally, I didn’t like it; it’s very feminine. Everyone around me adores it, but it simply doesn’t suit me. I’m sorry, but I’ll keep trying. The first sniff wasn’t for me.
Anne Flipo created a little-known perfume in Spain but a legendary one worldwide: La Chasse aux Papillons. Probably the best floral in history. This Neroli Botanica is made exactly the same: delicate, balanced, natural, refined and, unfortunately, very feminine. I see no resemblance to Orangea or the Tom Ford blues or the JF Schwarzlose. It is very floral, clean flowers, but only white; I expected a sharp, green neroli. What a pity. Even if I don’t buy it, it looks elegant on a woman. Anne Flipo knows her stuff; she gave a twist to her hit with more orange blossom and removing the neroli. What a pity it’s not what I expected.
Neroli Botanica could be one of the best from Essential Parfums. It is citrus-floral, opening with lots of neroli that wraps you in natural freshness without any harsh alcohol hits. It has a soft sweetness from the elemi, nothing cloying. In the mid-notes, the jasmine enters, moving from sweet to floral. Very pretty. I haven’t noticed any vetiver. I love it for being a neroli floral all the time. My problem is that I hate neroli because it reminds me of children’s colognes or shower gel, so I don’t see it for work or going out. I see it for any season. I haven’t tested the longevity, but the trail is noticeable at a medium distance. In short, a pretty scent, good vibes and joy, worth trying.
