  1. For some reason, it smells like a dry martini with two frozen olives, haha. Quite unusual.

  2. Not a bit like what I expected; it smells like a dry martini with two frozen olives. Haha, it’s a bit odd.

  3. I absolutely love it. It’s super versatile, has a masculine vibe, and doesn’t feel youthful. Totally recommended.

To be honest, most people say it smells fresh; for those who don’t get it, the base is strongly mentholated and sober, with herbal undertones, something woody and spicy. It’s not sweet; I don’t detect watermelon or orange. The trail is moderate to weak. It’s versatile: suitable for summer, spring, and autumn. I owned the Lattafa Fakhar Men, and they have an enormous similarity when dried; initially they are different, but the dry-down smells almost identical.

The box is gorgeous, featuring shiny blue fabric wrapping the bottle, which is protected in plastic and rubber with a stained-glass-style design. The liquid is yellowish with suspended particles, which doesn’t give me the best impression, although it has an expiry date of 03/24 and lasts until 2029, code M11-240201900, and arrived perfectly sealed from a trusted supplier. On the nose, it’s 100% masculine and transports me to an era when men’s fragrances smelled fresh and clean. It smells like a foreman on a ranch who made so much fortune he no longer uses horses, but a truck with GPS and drones for the livestock. It also recalls old barbershops with straight razors and scissors, where deals were struck away from ladies, seated in reclining chairs reminiscent of the 1950s, heavy as a ton. Despite its freshness, it requires a face hardened by hard work, with a strong gaze and pale skin. It’s not for glass-faced youths who only know how to play Minecraft. It’s ideal for meeting in-laws and stating without hesitation: ‘family, I’ve come to participate in the wedding date’, so the father-in-law grits his teeth and the mother-in-law knows her daughter is in good hands. Ladies and gentlemen, this fragrance is for warm climates or tense environments where security needs to be projected. If you like masculine fragrances that smell like vanilla dessert, chocolate, sweets, and frost like Victoria Secret’s Splash, then this isn’t for you.

  7. Honestly, it was a pleasant surprise. Its opening is a strong, zesty orange, then seconds later comes the cucumber and watermelon, quite pleasant and fresh. As time passes, the sage emerges, still fresh. After an hour, it becomes more woody, still fresh but with a slightly formal woody touch. Its projection is even, medium intensity but constant for 4 hours, with a 2-hour discreet personal bubble. Easy to wear, lasts 6 hours in total. In my case, totally recommended. It reminds me of Polo Blue mixed with a Nautica with testosterone; it reminds me of those two, 10/10.

  8. I’m not sure if it smells like Polo Blue or anything, but I have my opinions: yes, it’s sweet but zesty, with a touch of spices only perceived in the opening and afterwards it remains sweet, ozonic, and somewhat fresh. Too sweet for everyday wear, but I used it one day to go to a club to dance and it performed excellently. I could smell the aroma despite being in a small, crowded venue, sweating litres, yet it held up in that extreme environment for over 4 hours. Of course, for this outing I applied a lot (more than 10 sprays). With fewer applications, it could work for a daytime outdoor outing, but I see it more for nights and parties with lots of people.

I bought it because I read it was similar to Polo Blue Edt, but for me, nothing to do with it; judging by its notes, I expected something fresher, and it’s not like that; it’s more on the sweet side. No complaints about projection and performance; it lasts quite a while, I think it can be better enjoyed in cool weather, mainly at night.

Today, this Rave Now Intense by Lataffa arrived. I was worried about buying blind, as many on YouTube claim it smells like insecticide. To my surprise, it’s fresh and simple, similar to Polo Blue EDT. I don’t know its longevity yet as I’ve only just received it, but I’ll update soon. For now, it’s decent, with three BBBs.

Today I received this Rave Now Intense by Lattafa. I was worried because it was a blind buy; many reviewers on YouTube say it’s ugly, smells like insecticide, etc. To my surprise, it’s a fresh fragrance, nothing complicated, similar to Polo Blue Edt. I haven’t tested its performance yet since I received it today, but I’ll update this comment after using it for a few days. For now, okay, with three BBBs.

  17. Happy 2024, friend. Sending my very best wishes for health, work, and wellbeing to you and your family. It’s clear you’re a good person with positive thoughts. Thanks for the greeting and for sharing your olfactory experiences. At the end of the year, I used Lattafa’s Ameer al Oudh (not the Intense) and it was a treat. My wife complained because I received compliments from the hostess and a friend, but I loved it; it’s fantastic for this time of year. A big hug, wishing you a good life always.

I’ll be waiting for your review, which will surely be as excellent as yours. A strong hug.

  19. Rave Now Intense: A rustic and elegant aroma that blends opaque seriousness with the formal without losing its luxury. It’s sensible, precise, and good-tasting. You can sense its Atlantic navy blue influence, almost black and imposing, with refined woods that break through the leather and a touch of talc in its best interpretation. It’s the scent of someone with cultural level, for a seductive and sophisticated personality. It’s not for everyone; it requires a virile, successful, and masculine man to wear it with congruence. It’s a hit: clean, fresh, manly, elegant, and sombre. A beauty that floats for accomplished men who generate attraction. Courtesy of Goné Valo. Excellent recommendation, I was pleased. Scent: 10. Projection: Good in my case, a bit more than 2 hours in cold. Longevity: 8 hours. Recommended.

  20. It’s a gem, a bomb in terms of projection and longevity. It’s a blend of sandalwood, sage, and fruit, exquisite. On clothes, you’ll have it for days; on skin, hours, even after a shower. Perfect for nights, cool climates, or open spaces. It doesn’t fatigue at all. Buy without regrets. 100% recommended!

  24. Well, what a fragrance. It seems it wasn’t one of the favourites in the Rave Now line, and I think I know why. Rave Now (black bottle) created a lot of hype with its juicy pineapple scent, but that expectation generated doubts in the Intense. My take: the Intense is more mature, more manly, more masculine, and MUCH MORE MANLY. Nowadays, easy scents like Bad Boy or Invictus are sold, but the very masculine ones are often less loved. My experience with Rave Now Intense has been muuuuch good. It’s green, herbal, rough, clean, and woody; after 3 hours, a slight fruity sweetness from watermelon emerges. Wearing it made me feel secure, present, and sober. Those clean and green notes catch attention and yes, they turn heads. At work, I received three compliments: “UFFF, HERE SMELLS LIKE A MAN”, “HEY GONÉ, YOUR PERFUME SMELLS LIKE A DOG”, and “ENGINEER, YOU ALWAYS SMELL VERY GOOD”. Everyone lives their own experiences and tastes are different, which must be respected. I’d give it a 7.8. Scent: Masculine, sober, presentable, and clean. Longevity: 7-8 hours (very well). Projection: 3 hours very good, then drops but still perceptible. Seasons: All year. A strong hug and blessings.

  25. A fragrance with spiced pineapple and soapy notes that make it slightly mature. On my skin, it projects for half an hour and lasts at most four hours. Totally dispensable.
