A delight. It’s incredible that this perfume costs what it costs—a distinctive scent so you don’t smell like everyone else. From age 30 and upwards, this perfume works really well. I’m surprised at how well made it is: there are no sweet notes here, just delicious wood. 10/10, highly recommended. Don’t believe the other reviews—go for this gem.
You get 10 to 15 minutes of an oud (plus cardamom) with animalic undertones, almost faecal or like roten cheese. The vanilla, tonka bean and ambergris combo appears later to make the fragrance a bit more sociable, but without impoing itself. I know there are lovers of this fragrance and of the one it’s trying to copy, and each to their own… I didn’t like it.
An everyday perfume for autumn. Every time I wear it, my girlfriend thinks it’s dreadful, but I feel the complete opposite: I like it so much that I even wear it to bed. The original Tom Ford is of higher quality and has better lasting power. With this one you get 4/5 hours… then you have to reaply.
Tested on skin from a decant. This is a perfume that, although it isn’t for everyone, is interesting and original because of the oud and the strong impact it has on the nose. It’s a medicinal oud with a sweet touch that isn’t sickly. It’s not a perfume that everyone will like, but for personal use and for standing out from the ordinary, it’s extraordinary. It smells better in the air and in the trail you leave behind than when you bring your nose close. It convinced me, and I’m about to buy it. Elegant, sophisticated, for casual wear when you want to smell different, I think it’s a good option.
A soft scent of domesticated oud with sandalwood and cardamom; the pepper is there, but not as intense as most people make out. It’s an update of Woody Oud; they haven’t just changed the name and the packaging—here the oud note has become less delicate. On the other hand, the bottle is much better, and the cap finally has an acceptable click, unlike its predecessor. Postscript: it’s 70% similar to Oud for Glory, but while that one has a lavender tone that gives it a very clean character, this one is a more sour and rough wood. As for the scent, it’s not for getting compliments, not for parties, much less for the office, and for the love of God, not for the gym. This perfume smells of formality and seriousness; it’s more serious than a shooting in a small lift, the perfume Barty Crouch Sr. would wear in Harry Potter. Longevity: about 5 hours; fortunately, a soft trail that conveys depth and sobriety without frightening anyone. If you walk into a church wearing this, you won’t knock the rosary out of any nun’s hands, but you will make her pray harder and you’ll see she won’t dare turn her neck.

Longevity is around 5 hours, with a soft trail fortunately, which allows conveying depth and sobriety without frightening anyone. If you arrive at a church with this, you won’t knock a rosary off any nun’s hands, but you will make them pray with more fervour as they dare not turn their necks.
