Definitely not for everyone. Right now, I hate it and it gives me nausea, but since it’s summer in Peru, I’m holding out hope for winter; I love gourmand scents and am open to new discoveries. It smells incredibly strong (again, it’s summer), you definitely need a strong personality or the perfume will eat you alive, it’s even a bit masculine, a true gem.

My latest find is this such a contradictory rarity: half femme fatale, half a cocktail of coconut and piña colada. I was surprised that it’s an explosive yet elegant blend, super functional and versatile. The longevity and aura are decent, and the dry-down is gorgeous, evolving beyond the typical vanilla, something rare in this gourmand age. The cashmere wood and leather, after a little maceration, are a showstopper. The bottle is incredible, with that witch’s potion vibe from the 2000s, when almost every perfume had an esoteric and nocturnal touch. It smells oriental but natural, with something that reminds me of Lush, perhaps the woods or the musk. It’s quite flexible and unisex, but it doesn’t smell like a burning car or a cold shower, rather of the East and mystery, which is a relief. Don’t hesitate and grab a decant to try this little-known gem.
