I loved it so much in 2012 that I couldn’t buy it, and today, while looking for something citrusy and soft, unisex or summer-appropriate, the saleswoman told me she had a last bottle of Burberry Brit Summer and, as it was discontinued, would gift me the tester with my purchase. I was over the moon, went to smell it, and indeed, yes! I absolutely love it. I’m so happy to have nearly 150ml instead of 50ml. It smells of lemon and lime at first, then pear and almonds. It reminds me of pleasant springs, not those crazy heats here. A wonderful fragrance, original, with the right balance between softness and the sweetness of fresh fruit. It evokes Brit and Love Generation Fashion Victims by Arthes.

I managed to get a tester that was almost given away, which was a brilliant find. Although I was told it wouldn’t hold up in extreme heat, here where it’s stifling and humid for 80% of the year, it works perfectly. It leaves a medium trail that is fresh and sweet at the same time, very well balanced thanks to the almond note. I love it because it gives an elegant air without being classic, adding the freshness the climate demands. Ideal for standing out in daily life without being overpowering. It’s not sensual, but it feels quite feminine.
