About Dalia Absoluta Elixir
Dalia Absoluta Elixir by Adolfo Dominguez: A New Oriental Floral Perfume for Women
Adolfo Dominguez presents Dalia Absoluta Elixir, a new addition to its collection in 2026. This feminine perfume belongs to the oriental floral fragrance family, blending the zest of orange with the grace of jasmine and dahlia.
The perfume pyramid opens with a burst of orange, delivering instant freshness. In the heart, jasmine and dahlia weave together to form a sophisticated and enveloping floral bouquet. The base settles on vanilla and amber, offering warmth and endurance.
The key accords include white floral, amber, vanilla, powdery, and a touch of animalic, giving it a complex and alluring character. This combination makes the scent versatile, fitting for day and evening wear.
This elixir is a modern take on oriental classics, with a contemporary feel. The dahlia, a bloom rarely used in perfumery, takes centre stage, adding a distinctive twist.
The sillage is moderate, with a projection that draws people in. Its longevity is impressive, lingering for hours without being overpowering. It works well in temperate or cooler climates.
All in all, Dalia Absoluta Elixir is a well-balanced fragrance that marries the radiance of orange with the depth of florals and oriental sweetness. A great pick for those who want a scent with personality and refinement.
This perfume is aimed at women who love sophisticated and cosy fragrances, ideal for special events or everyday wear in autumn and winter.
To sum up, Dalia Absoluta Elixir is a wonderful addition to Adolfo Dominguez's range. Its harmonious mix of floral and oriental notes makes it a reliable choice for perfume enthusiasts.

I bought this perfume blind for two reasons: 1- As with all AD fragrances, the perfumer is Ramón Monegal. 2- The dahlia in perfumery is an interpretation by the perfumer, since there is no extraction of absolutes from this flower, given that the flower is practically odourless to the human nose. I was very interested to see how Monegal had interpreted this flower, and his interpretation is an opulent flower, with a bright opening and an almost honeyed amber body. It gives the sensation of a rose without having the body of a rose. It is something between a peony and a rose, I would say. The aroma is sensual, magnetic and deep. The only thing I have to complain about is the longevity, which doesn’t exceed 4 hours. But the rest is magnificent. It smells good; it’s a floral that isn’t cloying. I tried it and it lasted about 4 hours. I found it a little sweetish, and at the end rich vanilla. It reminded me a bit of the soft drink Delawer Punch.
