  1. Gave it as a gift and it was love at first sniff, haha. The bottle is gorgeous, elegant, and original; I’d hardly put it on before people asked how good it smelled. I think it’s very unisex, nothing cloyingly sweet or gourmand. It’s that kind of scent you can wear yourself, with a trail and longevity that are more than acceptable. Clean notes of bergamot and ginger, a spicy touch of cinnamon and very subtle vanilla, plus a fruity-acidic hint of blueberry and raspberry that ends up very elegant and timeless.

First off, its three phases are very distinct. Second, the Ruby Red orchid has nothing to do with the black one in Black Orchid, so this isn’t its budget version. The red fruits, cinnamon, and ginger are very pleasant and noticeable throughout, combined with vanilla and ylang-ylang. It’s a mix of red fruits, florals, spices, and sandalwood. Although I don’t find it elegant, I wear it well for everyday use and it suits all year round. I like it for its quality and price; it was a lucky blind buy.

  3. It’s very pretty and interesting. It smells almost like incense but isn’t quite so smoky—I know it doesn’t contain incense, but the sandalwood, cinnamon, and patchouli give it that slightly dark and intriguing touch, very subtle, without forgetting its red fruits and florals.

  4. Like most from this house, it’s really beautiful, pleasant, but with something distinct, not so generic, with acceptable performance. It opens with sparkling bergamot, juicy sweet red fruits, and a noticeable but not piercing ginger. This lasts about an hour, which is what I enjoy most. Then comes the floral heart, accented with a subtle green touch, drying down to something vanilla and creamy. I see it as feminine and versatile, flirtatious and youthful yet sophisticated, without falling into formality. It’s right in the middle, ideal for many occasions and for ages 20-25 onwards. It lasts about 6 or 7 hours with moderate projection and trail in the first half. The bottles are super original and pretty. In short, very pleasant and good value for money. Trussardi is very underrated and stands up to designer brands that are much more expensive.

  5. Smells of red berries with a creamy base and a touch of spice. Personally, it doesn’t excite me; it feels a bit flat, but if you’re looking for that combination, it’s well-executed, the notes are noticeable, and the quality is good.
