You can’t believe how disrespecftul the reviews are, written by blokes who fancie themselves snobs or comedians, and you can tell a mile off that they’ve got worse taste than the people from the slums they’re trying to put down. I’m sure they’ve also worn Kevin at some point in their lives, because literally every one used it. It was the typical gift you got as a teenager. We women liked it because it smells very masculine and clean, despite how overposed it was. You’d have to be really insecure and unhappy not to admit that it’s a simple but pretty decent perfume that does its job. It’s pleasant in itself, no matter who wears it – again, that was every one, not just people who live in slums. It’s true that it’s in the same vein as Cool Water and Green Irish Tweed, but at a pocket-friendly price and made in Argentina. It’s not the most original perfume in the world, but it’s not a clone of the other two either. If I’m asked to choose between a Kevin and a One Million, which apparenctly is to the liking of the reviewer friends, I’d stick with Kevin for the rest of my life, because it smells more masculine and balanced.
The perfume of my pre-teen years; I remember wearing it in my first and second year of secondary school, until I happened to get Dior Homme Sport 2017 by chance. Pure nostalgia, good and absolutely youthful. It makes me laugh seeing so many comments linking it to chavvy, when there are a lot of us who wore suits and ties while using this beauty, haha; in a few years it’ll be the Colbert de Noir of our parents.

I’ve just bought COTY – ASPEN via ‘INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY’ from MercadoLibre Argentina… and I can say this KEVIN smells the same as COTY – ASPEN from the late 80s… NOTES COPIED FROM COTY – ASPEN (Top) green notes, bergamot, lemon (acid lime) ============================================================================ (Heart) lavender, juniper, geranium, coriander, cyclamen (Persian violet), orange blossom, jasmine ========================================================================= (Base) balsam fir, cedar, oakmoss, musk, grey amber

The classic Kevin. I have no idea if the declared notes are correct but that Kevin (the first one) I love it and I knew it in an era when it was synonymous with freshness, cleanliness and informality. Nowadays it still evokes those same feelings. When I smell it on the street I enjoy it a lot (and many women agree with me).
Perfume that I never had, have, nor will ever have. If you smell this scent on the street… guard your mobile. Massive smell in nightclubs, it goes well with impeccable white trainers with untied laces, national team hoodie and visor cap. Today many are named Kevin because of this perfume, and of those I know none have a payslip. Enough said.

Perhaps the most worn men’s fragrance in Argentina over the last 30 years; I believe it was launched in the mid-1990s, and although it shares some of Cool Water’s DNA, it completely lacks the calone of the original. It’s lemony at the opening, then woody and musky, unpretentious but very pleasant. It has earned the affection of generations who wore it again and again, and they say it’s guaranteed to draw compliments and positive comments, and that women love it for some reason even they can’t explain. To this day, you can still easily smell its scent on the streets; its very affordable price and wide distribution in all kinds of shops, even newsagents and corner shops, guarantee its staying power for ever and ever. Amen.
