A modern fougère that straddles the line between new and classic, masculine and feminine, formal and informal. I love it: it starts fresh with citrus and clove, then moves into a floral blend with rich patchouli and soft lavender. Intense at first but with moderate longevity. Elegant, dry, and well-made. It evokes the green citrus scents of the 70s, but the lavender makes it modern and spiced. It’s not intrusive or overpowering, yet it oozes style and is comfortable to wear. Its only flaw is the price. There are more potent and cheaper options, but here the quality of the notes and harmony justify the cost. Extremely addictive, one of Etro’s best, wearable all year (better suited for daytime). Subtle elegance.

I’m not entirely convinced. It opens with a heavy and disconcerting scent, where only the lavender is identifiable. It fades quickly, leaving the geranium and carnation barely perceptible. Poor projection.
