I’ve just picked up this perfume and, although my final opinion is yet to be seen, at first it smells of a super soft and subtle sweetness. I see it as ideal for summer and spring evenings; for winter it lacks a bit of projection, but for the heat it’s the perfect substitute for Classic Joop. I’d give it a 7.5. On my skin it lasts about five hours, but bear in mind that on me everything smells faint due to my skin type. The trail is short but not overpowering. It’s delicate and delicious, dominated by vanilla with that sweet touch, the apple in the background adds freshness, and there’s a scent I can’t identify but smells great. Sweet yet refined, ideal for close encounters or in warm climates. If I’m not mistaken, it’s discontinued; if you want to buy it, ask me and I’ll send the link where I got it for €16 for 100ml, which is more expensive elsewhere. The only downside is that it doesn’t last long on the skin, about five hours give or take.

To me, this is the king of Joop: a sweet, vibrant, and sparkling explosion. I don’t understand how they took it off the market, just like What about Adam. I would never stop producing it; you can only find both second-hand at ridiculous prices, around €100, whereas Joop Thrill Man used to cost €15. Still, it’s worth it for me, and as long as I can, it will remain my daily and favourite fragrance.
