First time with Faconnable, which was already around in Argentina back in the 90s. It’s a classic fougère from that era: opens strongly with mint, citrus, and cardamom, then after two hours yields to nutmeg and cinnamon, though I only detect the cinnamon faintly. I can’t really sense the base. The projection is potent and the longevity acceptable, lasting around six hours before fading to skin scent. It’s a very generic 90s aroma, nothing unpleasant, and I’ve received compliments on both the scent and the projection during those first two hours. Ideal for work due to that herbal-citrus-spicy touch that feels clean. It also works well for casual dates. It’s a daytime scent that shines on spring mornings or summer afternoons without much heat. I wouldn’t recommend it for evening wear as it’s distinctly a morning fragrance, but if someone wants to use it then, go ahead. In summary: a 90s fougère, suitable for both formal and informal occasions, with strong trail and projection that earn compliments.
