My father used to buy me the perfume whenever he travelled and knew when I was running low; one day he couldn’t find it in perfumeries or airports. Last week I spotted it in San Sebastián and bought it on the spot. The bottle is different and the scent almost the same, though it has a distinct touch I can’t quite place, but I love it. Very feminine and super provocative.
I forgot to mention that it is truly warm; I wore it in the middle of summer and it was a good companion, although it surely raises your temperature by five degrees Fahrenheit. I recommend wearing it after 5 pm if you want to feel special.
At first, it seemed vintage and not my style, but upon insisting and noticing the real myrtle, I realised it’s hyper-realistic. I absolutely love it now: it’s like diving into a green shadow in a freshly watered garden, with that humid heat penetrating the skin in a sensual, relaxing way. Sweet and floral, super natural, with a smoky spice touch (cinnamon, surely) and amber that creates a luxurious, intense atmosphere accompanying you for 24 hours, projecting beast with just a few sprays. It’s an oriental floral that’s certainly yours alone. A luxurious, mature bomb, not for fruit lovers, but I’m glad I caught this hidden treasure from Rouge. Hermès has a brilliant past.
It’s horrible. I bought it online because they said it was similar to Baccarat, but it’s nothing like it. It smells super strong, very ‘lady-like’; perhaps it would suit someone older, but I found it very ugly. I’m sorry to say that.
It is awful. I bought it online expecting it to be similar to Baccarat, but it is nothing like it; it smells extremely strong and very ‘lady-like’. Perhaps it would suit someone older, but I found it very unappealing. I’m sorry 😞.
A beautiful and elegant fragrance; do not be misled by those who only know commercial perfumes. It is a long-lasting talc scent yet not overpowering, very much in the vintage style of Rochas and Dior. A true gem for lovers of classic perfumery.
It’s a beautiful and elegant fragrance, but don’t listen to those who only know current commercial perfumery. It’s talc-like, long-lasting, and not invasive, very in the style of vintage Rochas and Dior scents. It remains a gem for admirers of bygone perfumery.
