I arrived hoping to repeat the Chocolat experience, but this bourbon vanilla is a resounding failure. It lacks all the body, wood and caramel nuances that define the genre, and smells of cheap synthetic. The main note is so light and powdery from the musk that it resembles ethyl vanillin, although the latter smells better. The florals last just two seconds. To smell soft vanilla and not gourmand, spending €100 is ridiculous and boring. Rating: 3
