The opening isn’t for me, not because of the animalic notes, but due to that resinous facet which overwhelms and dominates too much. It suffocates me, and I hate it. It takes a while to pass before I can get over it. The heart and dry-down leave a nice trail. Once that initial sensation fades, an aromatic, floral fragrance floats in the air with a dirty touch. However, the opening weighs heavily. The quality is evident; it lasts well and projects nicely, yet overall it feels let down. I expected something else, to be honest.
