Well, tastes are subjective. Nothing to do with the ‘Very Irresistible’ just because of the name. Here, jasmine predominates – a soft, slightly sweet, modern combination. I recommend you try it and judge for yourselves.
I’m a blind buyer of perfumes, guided mostly by Fragrantica and user suggestions (in English and Spanish). Many hits… but not this one. I bought the 75ml bottle and it doesn’t quite please me. It smells strong and lasts an eternity. The jasmine feels very plastic – not a natural floral, but heavy. After the opening, the patchouli gives it a somewhat masculine touch. It gives me a terrible headache. I’ll probably give it a chance in winter, otherwise it should go to someone who appreciates it.

Sensual, sexy and super elegant. That’s how I feel. The opening is strong, but once it dries down on the skin, it’s irresistible. It’s always a yes to compliments; everyone asks what I’m wearing. What I notice most is jasmine and cedar. For me, it’s a night perfume.

Hello, I’m from Argentina too. I recommend the brand Bagues; they make identical dupes that last a long time and are incredibly cheap. I even tried the Absolutely – it works!

One of the first gifts from my boyfriend; I hold it dear. It’s not really my style, but it smells rich, pleasant and calming – perfect for days when you don’t want to draw attention. I’d buy it again for him and the memory, not necessarily for the scent itself.
To me, it’s astonishingly delicious, long-lasting, and attractive, very elegant. I gifted it to my mum and she was fascinated by it. It can still be found in a few places, but less and less. Highly recommended!!!!

It’s a blend of the classic with something woody and spicy. It’s special for use in cold climates; I wore it in winter and finished the bottle… I loved it… what a pity I knew about it late and it’s no longer manufactured, at least not in Argentina. Regarding imitations, it’s true that Bagués makes very similar and long-lasting fragrances, but they no longer produce this one… it seems they follow fashion, dropping the classics and adding one or two new ones… If anyone knows where to get it, I’d be grateful for the details. At first, when I smelled it, I thought it was for a mature woman (over 40), but then it softened considerably and became more suited to my age (23 years). It’s super spicy and yet floral; I don’t usually like florals, but this one is different.
Absolutely Irresistible is an ultra-feminine, sophisticated, and sensual perfume, with marked fruity accords, white flowers, amber notes, and a touch of woodiness. The dimension provided by the red fruits and cedar is intoxicating, and in my opinion, it’s the hallmark of the Givenchy house. Excellent trail and longevity. Good value for money. A complex, deep composition that is enjoyed at every moment and will undoubtedly receive many compliments. Who will like it: lovers of mega-ultra sensual and sophisticated perfumes.
It was the first perfume I bought with my salary from a permanent job. I loved the scent; whenever I wore it, I appreciated how soft, elegant, floral, and sweet the aroma was. When it ran out and I went to look for it again, it was already discontinued 😔. If anyone knows of a perfume with the same scent, I’d be grateful, or where it can be purchased; I’m scared of eBay or Amazon options and them being fake copies.

What an extraordinary perfume! I’ve never smelled anything like it; it’s totally original, balanced, and very sensual. Super elegant and addictive! Excellent longevity like the other Very scents; I miss it so much. I’d love to find one just like it—it’s one of my favourites and is now discontinued. If anyone has one and could let me buy or swap it for something from my collection, I’d be over the moon, as in Argentina I haven’t been able to get it for over 10 years 😢.

This Absolutely Irresistible is so potent it overwhelms me within minutes, yet it leaves a mark: itching, itching, and painful nostrils. It’s too penetrating, too heavy. Even if my nose could penetrate its dense atmosphere, I wouldn’t end up liking it for being excessively voluptuous and shapeless. I’m not sorry they discontinued it, ship’s bell with this fragrance! A nasal nightmare.

This Absolutely Irresistible is so potent that it saturates me in a few minutes, although it does leave a good trail: tickling and sore nostrils. It is too penetrating, too thick. Even if I could endure its density, I would not end up liking it because it is excessively voluptuous and shapeless. I do not mind that they have discontinued it, what a nasal nightmare!
