Seems like top-quality leather, with a soft, clean oud. The patchouli adds a mentholated, medicinal touch that fits perfectly with the raspberry, providing just the right amount of sweetness and acidity. Smells beastly and projects well; unlike other leather scents, it’s easy to wear. Versatile within reason (obviously, don’t wear it with sportswear or in summer). It’s memorable and unique: if you want people to notice your scent, this is your option.

It smells beastly and projects well; unlike other leather scents, it’s easy to wear. Versatile within reason (don’t wear it with sportswear or in summer, obviously). It’s memorable and unique: if you want people to notice your scent, this is your pick.
Clean oud, nothing animalistic. One of my favourite Byredo scents so far.

Excellent cologne. Smells distant, reminiscent of Amouage Jubilation XXV due to the notes. The opening oud is perfectly balanced with rum, leather, and blackberry, which sweeten and ‘moisten’ the dryness of the leather and oud. Later, the saffron and patchouli complement everything. A very good perfume. Recommended. Scent 8/10, Longevity 7/10.

The opening is the best: pleasant and well-blended with blackberry, saffron and rum. It evolves into an oud and leather reminiscent of Acqua di Parma. The dry-down with patchouli and musk makes it sweeter and more medicinal, yet it retains that pleasant oud, albeit a bit dull and common. Unremarkable. Rating: 5.
